We provide a broad array of services to landowners ranging from timber appraisals to prescribed burning to wildlife management plans. We also offer small logging services, and logging on a large scale for sensitive areas. We do boundary line maintenance and wildlife damage management. Just about anything you could wish for, we can do.
Education:
Bachelors of Science - Mississippi State University 2008
Major in Forestry - Wildlife Management
Experience:
I have 5 years experience as a forester & wildlife biologist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I became a private forestry & wildlife consultant in 2009, when I started my own business, Mercy Tree Forestry & Wildlife Services.
Success story:
A lady purchased a new property in the MS Delta to have for farming. When she found out that she couldn't farm it due to soil flooding/erosion problems and poor soil conditions, she was devastated. She had a lot of money invested and no way for a return. We planted trees, thinned timber already on the property, and began intensive wildlife management strategies. The very next season, her hunting lease brought twice as much as she expected from a farming lease.
