The Davis Bayou area is located near Ocean Springs, Mississippi. It features a campground, visitor center, boat launch, trails, and several boardwalks where visitor may overlook the bayous and glimpse wildlife.
Area Gate: 8 a.m. to sunset (year-round)
William M. Colmer Visitor Center and Fishing Pier: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Davis Bayou Boat Launch and Picnic Area: 6 a.m. to sunset.
Campground Office: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Notropis petersoni Coastal Shiner
  • Macroclemys temminckii Alligator Snapping Turtle
  • Malaclemys terrapin Diamondback Terrapin
  • Charadrius alexandrinus Snowy Plover
  • Malaclemys terrapin pilea Mississippi Diamondback Terrapin
  • Nerodia clarkii clarkii Gulf Salt Marsh Snake
  • Hibiscus coccineus Brilliant Hibiscus
  • Andropogon capillipes Chalky Broomsedge

Boaters and anglers use the area on occasional and seasonal basis for fishing.
