Southern Way Charters was started in 2001 with the original Southern Way, a 55” single screw fiberglass trawler, that began running “six pack” charters to the Chandeleur Islands. We then acquired the 72′ Southern Way which we subsequently sold in 2016. In 2011 an additional vessel was added to our fleet, the 54’ custom built aluminum sportfisher Southern Cross for expeditionary type trips as well as service to Chandeleur and our private dock in the Biloxi Marsh. It is now in private service.
In 2013, we added the 110’ SWC Sportsmans Lodge at Venice(formerly known as the Venice Sportsmans Lodge) to the fleet and in 2015 our latest addition is the 114′ Dogwood Lodge at the Biloxi Marsh. Our goal has been and will continue to provide the finest outdoor experiences for our clients.
