My interest in forest and land management is born from a grandfather who appreciated the many rewards that come with owning forestland. It was on his southwest Mississippi timberland that I learned to appreciate the land. So, after high school, I chose a career in forest management. I attended Mississippi College in Clinton where I studied biological sciences. From there, I earned Masters Degrees in both Forest Management and Business Administration at Mississippi State University. I am a Registered Forester with the Mississippi Board of Registration for Foresters as well as a Mississippi Real Estate Broker.
